Peter Kropotkin Was born in 1842 and died in 1921.

Descended from nobility, Peter was actually a prince but denounced his title for anarchy.

Check out that beard man!

Kropotkin was friends with one of Bakunin's pals however, Kropotkin and Bakunin were never introduced. Imagine the conversation they might of had, Mmm, racey!

Kropotkin was one of the first anarchist communists and was known to some as "the anarchist prince." This has to be an oxymoron if ever I heard one!

He was imprisoned and exiled by many countries because of his political beliefs and writings. As a young man, Peter was forced to join the military as he could'nt enter into university. There he tried to gain access to administrative posts but these were difficult to get in to. He finally left the military and went to work for the university where he published geographical works.

Leaving Russia, Kropotkin travelled and became involved with socialist groups, however, these were not extreme enough so he gave up on them. He found the right medium in the Jura Federation where he adopted anarchism. After travelling to England and Switzerland, he landed in Paris in 1877 where he helped to start the socialist movement.
